Established in 2021, YKA Film Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing training and opportunities for those interested in the film industry (including emerging and established filmmakers) as well as helping to create a film friendly landscape in the region. By empowering individuals, educating communities, and providing new resources, YKA Film Society is helping to drive business into the TNRD and elevate the local film scene to new heights.
From organizing workshops and seminars to hosting screening and networking events, YKA Film Society is at the forefront of building productive relationships within the industry. Their passion for the art of filmmaking is infectious and they are committed to making a positive impact on the local community.
